In this regard, enhancements for the DCP Digital Commerce Platform are being developed in different agile projects to be able to sell new vehicles, accessories and digital services online, to keep up with the times. The SAP Hybris Commerce Server functions as a technological basis on the platform’s backend, as well as a frontend that was developed based on Angular with innovative functionalities that are aimed at ensuring an optimum online shopping experience for Daimler Benz’s customers.

Supporting the road to success

We were particularly able to demonstrate our strengths and knowledge of e-commerce processes in the automotive sector when migrating an online car configurator. In this sub-project, there was a functional migration for this complex online module, including the associated product data migration from Intershop Commerce Suite to SAP Hybris Commerce Server.

Furthermore, we supported development of online vehicle and accessories sales, as well as expansion of the online shop to include employee bonuses.
